Joey Dickinson is a second-year Ph.D. student in Sociology at Washington University in St. Louis. Their research centers around immigration, identity, and intergroup relations, especially as it relates to public opinion and political participation. Currently, their major projects focus on how native-born Americans form attitudes toward immigration policy and how immigrants form partisan identities. Joey primarily utilizes quantitative methods and is especially interested in survey experiments.
